I finally found my "other" HULEN info (see also my response on the Robert HULEN thread). The following is from an old typescript written by Roy SHEETS (1892-1954), great-grandson of Fielden HULEN and Sallie CLEATON. I have done no research on this family, so I cannot vouch for its accuracy, but can say that similar info he put together on the SHEETS family has proved to be reasonably accurate.

He says Fielden HULEN was the son of Billie HULEN and Merry SWIMS and the father of William HULEN and Lucinda HULEN (who married John REEVES) and William HULEN. He says Billie HULEN's mother's maiden name was GUESTS. Unfortunately, he gives no dates for any of these people except Lucinda HULEN, born 13 May 1842, m. John REEVES in Schuyler Co. in Apr 1856, d. 17 Dec 1917 in Cainsville, Harrison Co., MO. He says that after the death of Fielden HULEN, Sallie CLEATON "married George REEVES, a brother of John REEVES. She was the mother of four children by this marriage: John REEVES, Babe REEVES, Sarah TURNER, and Julia WELCH."

John REEVES who married Lucinda HULEN was born in 1832, so George REEVES would have been an older brother, or Sallie CLEATON married a younger man, or the generations have gotten mixed up.

Let's continue this discussion via e-mail. The typescript continues with a fair amount of info about the REEVES and CLEATON families. Hope this helps a bit.
