Hulery came from Ullery

I am descended from the Hulery family, Oregon pioneers of 1853 who have are many descendants throughout Oregon and Northern Nevada. They came from Carroll Co., Indiana but I have been able to find little about them prior to that. After careful consideration, I have concluded that Hulery was originally Ulery or Ullery and that the 'H' was added in the late 1840's. The Ullery's came out of Pennsylvania and that name probably was Ulrich.

I would be interested to know if anyone agrees with me.
