Hi again Larry - hope you are keeping well! I just wanted to share some possibly relevant information I've come across. I have been combing through the Ohio censuses in the early part of the 1800s to see if I could see a family that fits with John H. I have been particularly focusing on Ross County since that is where he marries in the 1830s. While there are Hulls living there very early on, with his birth in Maryland in 1818, none of them are possible candidates for his family. It wasn't till I got to the 1830 census when two new Hulls cropped up - Isaac Jr and Isaac Sr. Isaac Jr looks to be recently married, but Isaac Sr. has a white male who is the right age living in his household at the time. If John was still at home, before getting married a few years later, it could be him. There is no way to tell obviously since no names are given and I have found conflicting information on this pair of Isaacs (though one post on this listserve does say he had a son named John). Maybe someone else who knows about them might be able to help.
