Phyllis
I myself am not convinced that the Hull's of Crewkerne had distiguished themselves in such a manner that would merit the honor of a coat of arms, crest,or motto.
How ever-- variations are often found in the Crest and Motto used by various branches of one family, and sometimes no record of crest or motto can be traced. They may have been in use in ancient times, but with the passing of centuries they were omitted and forgotten.
Since this is my family line I would like to have a Coat of Arms surface for this Branch of the Hull Family. I would like to believe one or more of my ancestors was so honored.
I am no authority on any of this and so I must bow to those who have given more time and study in this area. Anything you may find to shed more light would be most appreciated.
