Peter and Robert Hume had two brothers, Alexander and Abraham. Alexander and Abraham both became MPs, and they married sisters Mary and Hannah Frederick, daughters of Sir thomas Frederick. Abraham was Knighted, so there is a lot of information around about this family.
From my researches, I thought Alexander only had one child, a daughter Mary, who pre-deceased him. Alexander and Abraham were both involved in the East India Company, as merchants and ship owners. Alexander was also involved in the Ostend Trading Company.
I would be very interested to hear details of Alexander's son, and also further information on Peter and Robert.
