Hello Daniel,

I am also related to Cyril Hume - he is my first cousin, twice removed. I've been working on my Hume family tree branches for a while now and I'd like to share it with you and ask some questions. I have also been told we are related to David Hume, the philosopher, but haven't been able to make the connection that far back. I recently read "Wife of the Centaur", written by Cyril back in the 1920s and spoke with Cyril's nephew, David D. Hume. The Humes you and I descend from came to the U.S. through Quebec, Canada. Please contact me.
