Information on Joseph Hulme [or Humes] b. Sep 1854 in PA

I spent most of my sixty one years believing I was a Hulme, but in I am now trying to compile information for my family tree. I have been auccessful in determining that my greatgrandfather was Joseph Hulme, b. Sep 1854 in PA. This is from the 1900 census for Newcastle, Lawrence Co., PA. His wife is Margaret E[lizabeth], b. Dec 1859. There are also six boys: Charles, b. Jun 1880; S. Lawrence, b. Sep 1884; Frank [my line], b. Dec. 1886; Elmer, b. Jun 1888; John, b. 1890; and Clarence, b. jun 1898. The reason for this posting is that I also found Joseph listed as Joseph Humes in the 1880 census for Enon Valley, Lawrence Co., PA. Any information on Joseph's roots, wife's maiden name, and/or Frank's siblings would be greatly appreciated.
