Hi Mary. You posted a query at my web site about this too but I'll answer here as it's in context of other discussions of this line.

I don't have a Mary listed in that line. That doesn't mean there isn't one, but I would suggest looking at some of the other Humes lines, especially the line from Robert and John Hume(s) around Hanover Presbyterian Church that migrated to Milton, PA in later generations. I think that was also a large line that spread around widely and had yet another James Humes.

Here's what I have for descendants of Hamilton Humes in Centre County:

1 Hamilton Humes 1774 - 1859
........ 2 Elizabeth Humes
.. +Ann Almira Bailey 1770 - 1861
........ 2 James Humes 1808 - 1810
........ 2 Caroline Humes 1818 - 1838
........ 2 Edward Crouch Humes 1810 - 1895
............ +Lucy Winters Alexander 1811 - 1886
................... 3 William Potter Humes 1844 - 1920
....................... +Eliza D. Harris 1837 - 1881
............................. 4 Lucy Hamilton Humes
................... *2nd Wife of William Potter Humes:
....................... +Eliza Harris
................... 3 Hamilton S Humes 1848 - 1892
................... 3 Ann Elmira Humes
................... 3 Miley Humes
........ 2 [61] Rachel Bailey Humes 1816 - 1883
............ +[62] Samuel Humes 1801 - 1859
................... 3 [63] Hamilton Bailey Humes 1844 - 1913
....................... +[64] Floretta (Flora) S. Sebring
............................. 4 [65] Mary Humes 1861 - 1884
............................. 4 [58] Samuel Humes 1870 - 1904
................................. +[59] Jessica Cole Prindle 1870 - 1948
........................................ 5 [2] Hamilton Marshall Humes 1898 -
........................................ 5 [3] Margaret Prindle Humes 1894 - 1988
............................................ +[4] Denver W Collins 1911 - 1980
......................................... 5 [6] Samuel Humes 1901 - 1943
............................................ +[7] Elenor Kathyrn Graham 1903 - 1955

........ 2 William Hamilton Humes 1823 - 1888
............ +Catherine Jones
................... 3 Caroline Humes
....................... +Edward Gilmore
................... 3 Thomas Irvin Humes
................... 3 Elizabeth Marie Humes 1850 - 1899
....................... +Luther Stone Roberts
................... 3 Ann Elmira Humes (Miley) 1851 - 1887
....................... +Orris
................... 3 Edward Humes 1853 - 1922
................... 3 Rachel Humes 1863 - 1917
....................... +Archibald Allison
............................. 4 Catherine Humes (Allison?)

That info doesn't seem to wuite match up to 1850 census records which show a Catherine Humes b. 1828, and a Maria Humes with age listed as 4/12, which appears to mean 4 months old. Neither comes close to the birth date your Mary Catherine has.

I am curious for the source of your info. A Mary Colyer is found on the 1850 Potter Twp, Centre County PA census listed as age 37 and married to a Samuel Colyer (not Daniel). I can't find a Daniel on the census that fits. This Mary has children named William, Sarah, John, Mary, Rachael, Susannah - some of these are common Humes names in the Bellefonte Humes line but Rachel is spelled differently. More info on the husband might help clarify.
