Looking for information on John F HUMES born abt 1852 in Pennsylvania, although there have been some recordings of Ohio. He married Emma E BARTHOLOMEW (b. 1860 Pennsylvania) abt 1878 and had four children, Minnie P (b. 1879), Vernum P (b. 1881-1900), Willis L (b. 1888) and Guy Milton (b. 1889). John worked as a conductor for the Erie Railroad in Youngstown in the late 1880ís and 1890ís. He died abt 1896.

I believe I've been able to place John, Emma and Minnie in the 1880 census in Cranberry, Venago county, Pennsylvania.
