Good to meet you. I presume like the rest of the Nicholas Humes' line that you know of no connection to Scotland or Ireland. There is a book that I have been unable to access titled "Early American History: Hume and allied families" by William Everett Brockman that you might keep an eye open for. It reputedly has a couple of pages directed toward our ancestry and, I'm hoping, would add credibility to the report that Nicholas' father, Robert, was born in Ulster, Ireland.
