James Kimble would have died in Maury Co., TN.:Maury Co. Will Book:James Kimble, deceased May 15, 1827, guardian return recorded November 17, 1831.Wm. H. Hunter, Guardian for Orphans of James Kimble.Orphans are Wm. H. Kimble, Ann E. Kimble and Mary B. Kimble.Maury Co. Court Records:Marm M. Kimble was given a years allowance on May 15, 1827, widow of James Kimble.Wm. H. Hunter was guardian for Orphans of James Kimble on November 17, 1831.I assume Mary had died between 1827 and 1831 since Wm. H. Hunter was guardian, but they could have made him guardian while she was still alive, so not sure about that.Mary and James could have married in Warren Co., N. C. or could have married in Maury Co., TN.Two of Mary's siblings married in Warren Co., N.C. in 1815 and 1814.Two others married in Maury Co., TN. in 1820 and 1826. So between 1815 and 1820, I'm not sure whether they were in N.C. or TN.I have not been able to find a marriage for Mary and James. I don't think there were other siblings, because of guardian records only mentioned Wm. H. Kimble, Ann E. Kimble and Mary B. Kimble. They also could have married in Shelby Co., TN.Jacob's (Mary H. Hunter's father) sister, Sacky Clark Hunter wrote an interesting article on her family, which was published in "Historic Maury Co. 1972-1973".In it she states, "Jacob, who married Patience Williamson, moved near Memphis, Tenn, where he died"Of course he died in Maury Co., TN., because of his will.Maury Co. Will book:January, 1824, Jacob Hunter, deceased;division of slaves between the heirs of Jacob Hunter.Mrs. Hunter (Patience-the widow), 10 slaves;Mr. Kitrel (Kittrell), 7 or more;Elisa H. Hunter, 10 slaves (by her guardian, Micklejohn Kitrel. (Kittrell);James Kimble, 10 slaves;William Hunter, 7 slaves;John Dawson, 8 slaves.I assume Jacob is buried at Hunter-Kittrell Cemetery in Maury Co., but he is not on the cemetery listing. His wife, Patience, is buried there and on he marker has "Consort of Jacob Hunter." Peggy, anything else you can give me on the Kimbells, I would appreciate.I only had their names. My Hunter line is Isaac, Elisha, Elisha, Elijah, Rebecca and I believe yours would be Isaac, Isaac, Jacob, Mary. This is not my direct line, but I research all the lines.
