The following plat would seem to indicate a death date between Jan 1755 (date of warrant?) and Jan 1758 for George HUNTER Esq Surveyor General "dec'd" (as ment'd on this Jan 1758 plat for Thomas CRAWFORD):

It still will be important to determine if the 1752 date is the date of a will (or that of a probate -- indicating another individual of the same name).
