They lived in St. David's Ward, Toronto, in 1871, 1881 and 1891. Mary died between 1871 and 1881. William lived with Mary Ann Hunter Marlin in 1881 and 1891. Mary Ann married Peter Marlin about 1872. Couldn't find David or Jessie after 1871. A William Hunter born about 1811 in Scotland died 8 April 1897 in York. May not be your William because it said he was a shipper. Mary Ann's children were William born abt 1872, Annie abt 1874, Peter H abt 1876, Thomas abt 1878, Marion born January 1881, and Duncan abt 1884.
