Looking for Information About This Hunter Family

Does anyone have information pertaining to this Hunter family ???

From the books "Directory of Scottish Settlers in North America" and "Directory of Scots in the Carolinas", both by David Dobson, mention is made of a George Hunter who was born in Ayrshire, Scotland, and was the Surveyor General of South Carolina. He died 10 July 1755 in Charleston, South Carolina.
I just received a copy of his Will from the South Carolina State Archives, and his Will was written 27 August 1745 and proved 18 July 1755. In his Will, mention is made of his two sisters Elizabeth Dunlop and Margaret McDermot, and his half-brother David Hunter, and the items each received from their brother George is stated.
Does anyone have any information about this family ?? Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.
