Great work Diana! Thanks for all of the information you posted regarding what appears to be our mutual family. There is a Theophilus Huntington that is listed in the 1810 census who was born in 1753. He also lived in Batavia, NY He was the one that fought in the Revolutionary War and the one that is listed in war pensions, not Gurdon.Sorry I confused the two.I guess I was trying to tie Gurdon to him.By their dates of birth and location where they both lived, in Batavia, I thought he very well could have been Gurdon's father. On the Huntington family site Theophilus had a bunch of children but they are only listed by Huntington and nothing is followed up.I had come to the conclusion that Joshua was Gurdon's son also, but have not found anything concrete and certainly had not connected him to Abel Huntington and Sarah Tuttle of Windham Co., CT.You have done the whole line back to Simon and Margaret. Thanks, Thanks, Thanks. With the way records were kept back then I may never really have better proof but will keep on digging. So if your Sarah and my Joshua were brother and sister we must be related somehow. How is Sarah related to you?Joshua is my great-great grandfather.
