Walter's father was Charles H. Huppert and his mother was Rose A. Dony Huppert. They were married in Cook County, Illinois. They lived with Walter and his brother Carl on Wrightwood Avenue, Lake View Twp, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, Roll 274 Book 2, Page 270a in the 1900 census. We believe the Dony's came from Alsace Lorraine and suspect the Huppert's came from there as well. Charles is listed as coming from Germany in the Census; but given the changes of control in Alsace, we still think he may be from Alsace. Thanks anyway.
