Kay,
I'm trying to establish a connection between my Trumbull Co. family and the Hurlburt name.
My great great grandfather John Benton and his wife Polly Cheney Upson Benton moved to Trumbull Co. in 1814 with their two sons, George Washington and Henry M. Daughters Polly and Harriet were born in Ohio.
Henry was married to Harriet Holly Baldwin in 1843 in Geauge Co. OH and moved to Iowa. Their first born was Hurlburt Upson in Sep. 1846 in Iowa. Not your everyday first name, there must have been some family connection between the Benton or Baldwin families and the Hurlburts.
I'd be interested to know if you have any connection with either Benton or Baldwin names.
