I am seeking information on Joseph H. Hurlbut who lived in the Eastern Townships area of Quebec during the 1860s-1870s. He has two brothers, Preston and Ishmael, and a sister, Ida. Joseph H. was married to an Alice Briggs and had one daughter, Bertha Alice, in 1871. Alice died a few years later and Joseph H. remarried a Carrie Wiswell. He moved to California and they had two more children, Gus and Winnifred. Any information on Joseph H. Hurlbut's parents would be greatly appreciated.
