The Hurlbut lineage is as follows:
1. Polly Hurlbut (1779-1854) m. William Fox (1773-1846).
2. Jonathan Hurlbut (1756-1838), Private in the American Revolution m. Anna Green (1750-1808).
3. Gideon Hurlbut (1729-1823) m. 1751 Deborah Brainerd (1732-1819).
4. David Hurlbut (1688-1773) m. 1709 Mary Savage (1691-).
5. John Hurlbut (1642-1690) m. 1670 Mary Deming (1655-).
6. Thomas Hurlbut (1610-), Immigrant Ancestor, Solider in the Pequot War, 1637, Deputy to the General Court, Grand Juror & Constable in 1644, and Clerk of the Wethersfield Trainband, June 1649, m. Sarah.

Sources: Hurlbut, Hentry H., The Hurlbut Genealogy, or Record of the Descendants of Thomas Hurlbut, of Saybrook and Wethersfield, Conn., who came to America as early as the year 1637, Albany, New York: Joel Munsell's Sons, Publishers, 1888, pp. 15-433. Conn. Col. Records, Vol. I, p. 189; Vol. II, p. 161.

There are also other great genealogies on the families of each wife in the Hurlbut ancestry. One of great interest is Mary Deming, daughter of John and Honor (Treat) Deming, who was among the 1st settlers of Wethersfield, Conn., in 1635; a Constable and Court Deputy.
