My husband's name is Olin D. Clayton, son of Dale and Lavonne (Armentrout)Clayton. Dale is the son of Charles Leo and Suavilla Isadora (Hulbert)Clayton. Suavilla was the daughter of Warren Franklin and Lulu Luetta (Gage)Hulbert. Lulu was the gg grandaughter of Pvt Walter Gage, son of Captain William Montgomery Gage, both serving in the Rev. War with the State of Vt. Our daughter Belinda is a member of DAR through the Gage line, National #784871. Warren Franklin Hulbert was the son of Warren Moses and Martha Jane (Traylor)Hulbert. Martha Traylor was the 3rd great grandaughter of William and Judith (Archer)Traylor and our daughter Belinda is a member of Colonial Dames of the XVII Century through the Traylor lineage. Warren Moses Hulbert was the son of Augustine and Dorothy (Meacham)Hurlburt. Augustine was the son of Job and Dorcas (Spencer)Hulburd. Job was the son of Obadiah and Esther (Colton)Hurlbut. Obadiah was the son of William and Mary(Howard)Hurlbut. This William was the son of William and Ann (?)Hurlbut, who came to America on the "Mary and John" in 1630. This William was the son of Richard and Ann (Bower)Hurlbut. Richard Hurlbut was born in Bratton, Wiltshire, England in 1574. Looking for a book that was supposed to have been published about this family. Any help with this line would be greatly appreciated. In the process of collecting records on this family that tie to our Montgomery County, Il family.
