John,
I just wanted you to know that I am still working on Charles Byron Hurlburt, my grandfather. I went to the Georgia Shore and the Georgia Plains cem. and the head stones were Hurlbut. I went to Middlesex and found the records as Hurlburt. My mom's birth certificate gave me the idea and I checked it out. Where did the Hurlbut spelling come from that is online? I thought that maybe over the years that town clerks or other record people just spelled it wrong from time to time. Do you think that that explains it.
I will be intouch with you when I can get the info.
Thank you,
Mary
