I am the great-grandson of Obediah German Coonley, born Racine Wisc., Died Beatrice (Gage County) Nebr,, 1925.

He was one of several brothers whose parents came to Wisconsin from New York. If you are in contact with Jennifer Coonley LaBonte, she is the grand-daughter of Obediah's younger brother who was located in Hampton, Iowa.

I'm new to this. Can you explain how "John Coonley" in your records became "John Coonley Hughson".

Thank you.
