Hi Mark, my name is Jim Huson, I am 38 years old and a teacher in Republic, Missouri, I am the son of Edwin Merle Huson from Oregon, his dad was Clyde Huson, we were always told as kids that our name was changed to Huson after the Boston Tea Party, this information about Nathaniel Hughson is interesting, a family member once told us that our name originated from Huston and after the Tea had been dumped in the harbor he removed it from his name, the interesting part is we were told that he too was rebelious towards his father from England. Maybe you can help me trace my genealogy, Ive never seen a family tree, I had relatives in California Washington, and Oregon. I believe our faction of Husons originated from New York and then on to Kansas. Any help would be appreciated.
