As far as I know Cornelius never went west. Of course, in the early days if you went to Indiana you were considered to be "out west."

Farther down Cornelius' line my gr-grandfather, Edward Wing Huson, went west and aquired a homestead on Crazy Woman Creek on the desolate plains near Buffalo, WY, where they lived among cowboys, Indians, and outlaws. Now that's west.

However, I must grudgingly concede that it was really Cornelius and his wife Sarah
Wing who did the deed.
