Yes, I am researching his family. He was born in Westchester County, New York, in 1829-30, and moved to Cortland County about 1850, where he founded a large family. Curiously, he left descendants named Mattison. Any relation to you? Please reply to Alan Bunner, Alexandria, Virginia,
