I think I have a different Hughson/Huson line than I've been reading about. the earliest info I have is John K. Hughson, my Dad's Great-grandfather. His Dad,Claude Johnson Huson sent me this info. John and his brother (name unknown) came to Ripley County Mo.from N.C. in the early i840's. they were young men and could scarcely write their names,so they dropped the "gh".No other relatives int he state at the time. They lived in the Eastern part of the county and married. He had threee children. William, our line,Andrew and Belle.
I've reached a dead end.Can anyone help? Thanks!
