Colleen, My great-great grandfather was John's brother, William Johnson Huson. He was a Judge in Ripley County during the CivilWar. Their mother's name was Ada Johnson, but that is all we know about the family. She was a widow when she came to Ripley County with some of her family. My dad's grandmother was Minerva Jane Huson-Branch-Davidson. John and William's family ran the old hotel in Doniphan for many years. William is buried in the Old Pioneer Cemetery area of Oak Ridge in Doniphan, but the family lived in and around Fairdealing. Minerva's brother was a well known doctor in Doniphan. I would love to hear more and hope to hear from you.
