I am interested in knowing if my line of Huson descent is the same lineage as yourself! I am descended from Thomas Hughson, Nathaniel Huson, Calvin Huson Sr. and Jr. , and the Hobart Huson the I and II! Before my great grandfather died he told my mother the first Huson to come over was an Ambrose Huson, I am not sure if this is correct and I don't know if it was spelled Huson or Hughson! He also told my mom we were descendants of the Counts of Foix, and depending on who owned that part of Southern France at the time(France or Spain) the surname was spelled D'Huson or DeHuson! Also, when addressing the courts it was spelled Usso, no h or n! Ofcourse, I am not sure if any of this is correct, however, my great grandfather Hobart Huson II devoted much of his life to researching his family tree and wrote many letters on the subject that can still be found at the library he collected in Refugio, Texas, Dogwood Library, he was a Texas historian and Attorney! Please let me know if any of this information is helpful or if we are referring to the same line of Huson's! Thanks
