Leah, This story is written in many early history books of Northampton County, particularly those books revolving around the French and Indian War. The Indians were trying to eliminate the settlers north of the Blue Mountains. The Easton (PA) Library has probably one of the most extensive genealogical and historical libraries on the east coast. Well worth visiting. The library may be contacted at 610-258-2917. Ask for Sharon in the Marx Room. Good Luck. Bill
