I am going to start typing in as much information as I can on each family I have researched for preservation & hope it may help someone somewhere. This was typed 1914 by Lazarus Walter Dillon (b.Fran.Co.VA1884-1945 buried Mountain View Cemetery Sweet Grass Co.Montana). As I have mentioned elsewhere my grandmother Lillian Dillon Hogan was the only child that stayed in Roanoke,VA:

Transcriped by Lazarus Walter Dillon,Easter-Sunday, In the year of our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Fourteen.
If you wish to be remembered after you are dead & gone, Remember this, learn to do things worth doing and remembering, read things worth writing, and write things worth reading, by those that follow us through this voyage of lives as we are sailing over lifes stormy sea. Think of me, till life doth end though lands may us divide. Think of me on the other-side. Though far apart, O think of me your friend.
This life is difficult and uncertain at times, but we all like to travel the voyage over life's waves just the same. Today is a pleasant day here. When my face you do not see just look at this and think of me, a friend. Today is April 10. 2 Pm, Mountain-time 2 hours earier than eastern-time Ninety miles from here to where pacific time begins, one hour earier than mountain time 711 Defoe Street.Missoula, MONTANA.
