I think we must be related several different ways. You should email me and maybe by putting our heads together we can figure this out.

I was told by an old woman that Cannon Gibbs first name was Moses. I don't know how true this is.

There is good evidence to suggest Welthy was an O'Cain. In William O'Cain's will Cannon Gibbs signs a bond for the widow. My understanding is that the sons in law were suppose to be the ones to do that. There are other men that sign that bond that might lead to all his sons in law. We know he had a Hutchinson as a son in law.
I question whether Joyce Ann was the Cain childrens mother.

I also found Gibbs in Darlington with the same names as Cannon's sons.

George Cherrys wife was a Cannon and in his will there is a Lydia Gibbs. Lydia is also in a Marion record I think around 1810.
