NEEDHAM HYMAN......How many were there?
Posted by: Susan (ID *****9339) Date: February 17, 2009 at 06:24:40

Were there TWO Needham Hymans in North Carolina in the Martin County area in the 1700s-1800s?
I have that one Needham Hyman was a son of Hugh H. Hyman and his wife Mary Ray. Hugh H. Hyman was born about 1702 and died 1757). Nothing else on this Needham Hyman at this time...Did he really exist???
The other Needham Hyman was a son of Thomas Hyman II and Susannah Bryan. This second Needham Hyman was married to Temperence Sherrod according to his father's will of 1856..
I am aware that Needham Hyman and wife Temperence had a son named Needham S. Hyman who is mentioned in the will of 1856.
Please help with this if you can...
Thanks,
Susan
