I would so love to have you look up a couple of marriages for me. My family is David and Nancy (Needham) Peugh/Pugh. They used both spellings of the surname. I have found most of them. They were in Johns Twp. from about 1856 on. There may be some still there. I found a few buried in Garfield Cemetary in Johns Twp. One son, William Humphrey Peugh/Pugh married Amanda Elam in Centerville, IA in 1874 and they had four children who survived to adulthood. Leora born 1875, Victoria, born 1877, William L., born 1881 and Samuel born 1890. William Humphrey moved from Appanoose Co. to Sheridan Co., KS for about ten years then he died and I think was buried in Appanoose Co. in Garfield Cem. Amanda came back to Iowa after William died and was there in 1910 census. I cannot find married names for the two daughters, Leora and Victoria. I don't know if they would have married in Appanoose Co. or while they were in Sheridan Co., KS. They were not listed with the parents in the 1900 census in KS. I also have no listing for Samuel E. Peugh/Pugh after the 1910 Census in Appanoose Co when he was with his mother, age 19. I didn't find him in the 1920 census and do not know if he may have died or just didn't get listed. Anything you could tell me about these people would be great. I especially am looking for married names for the girls and for Samuel, either living or dead after 1910.
