Hello Bill,
My great grandfather, Abner Smith on my mothers side married Nancy Jane Rutledge, his father is John B. Smith who married Susan Liggett.

John died in Middle Fork Township, Vermilion County, Illinois (1902)and I believe Raymond and Laura Rutledge was there in 1900.

I'm searching for the parents of John B. Smith and wonder if you have any information on his family such as brothers, sisters parents etc. All the Census records state he was born in New Jersey, but I have been unable to find him at all before he went to Fountain, County, Indiana.
