am still trying to figure out if there is a relationship between two PASCOs living in Iowa at the same time (1850s). They are: - Henry Pasco (b about 1815 in CT or OH, spent some time in Shelby and Moultrie Co IL before he came, with wife, to Iowa in late 1840s. They were in Davis County for about 10 years before returning to Moultrie Co., IL. They had 3-4 kids while in Iowa, another 2 in IL). - Asa Pomeroy Pasco (b abt 1815 in OH, married and spent several years in OH where he had a few kids. Based on the birth attibution of his kids, he moves to Indiana in the mid-late 1830s and is in the 1850 Indiana census. He is found in Benton Co, Iowa in 1854 census and there until his death in 1865. I know there is a marriage to a family called COATS and some of the family move on to Nebraska.) Are these two related? They each have a daughter called "Marinda" and are both in Iowa, the farthest west traveling Pascos. Asa's father is attributed to be Stoddard Pasco who was in Ohio in the 1830s and in Missouri in 1840, dying c. 1844. Very little is known re: his offspring. Help is welcome!
