MISS REBECCA HUFFMASTER, daughter of MR. ANDREW HUFFMASTER, of this place eloped a week or two since with "DAN BRIGHAM," a shirt pattern man, who had been boarding in the family for a short time, and was married to him at
Ottumwa on Thursday last. The couple came home a few days since, but was not received with outstretched arms by the bride's parents, who objected to their method of getting married generally, and especially to their having taken their wedding tour in advance of the usual ceremony. The result of this was that the impetuous twain left town again for Quincy, Ills., where they probably will settle down to the realities of married life in the usual way.
