The Chariton Patriot Chariton, Iowa September 15, 1875 MARRIAGES: HOWARD - DILLMAN. -- on Sept. 7, at the residence of the bride's mother, by Robert Ramsey, Esq. Mr. M.L. HOWARD and MISS ELLA DILLMAN. The young couple are beginning their married life under the most favorable circumstances, and we sincerely hope that as they glide down the stream of life, no cloud may ever darken their sky, with the exception of an occasional light squall. On the 8th the groom's parents entertained their friends at their home, at which many partook of a bounteous repast. The young couple will soon commence housekeeping in Newbern, and, from the choice each has made, we predict them a happy and prosperous future. -------------------------------------------------------------------- DEATHS: WILLIBY. -- At his residence, in English Township, on September 8th, 1875, MR. LARIMER. -- On Monday night, the 13th of Sept., 1875, NANCY, wife of HUGH LARIMER, of Chariton Township, Lucas County, Iowa, died of enlargement of the heart. Mrs. LARIMER was one of the oldest residents of Lucas County, and a lady very highly esteemed by all her neighbors and friends. She has been troubled for some time with heart disease and was thought to be incurable, but yet her death was quite sudden and unexpected, and the news will be received with great sadness by her many friends here and elsewhere. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert February 14, 2007 http://www.rootsweb.com/~ialucas/Main.htm Notify Administrator about this message?
