To Prof. J.P. SIMSON, of Chariton, and wife, on Dec. 31st, 1876, a son.
To MR. and MRS. P.M. STEFFLER, on Dec. 22d, a 9 lb. son.
DEATHS:
BURLEY. -- At her residence near Freedom, Lucas County, Iowa, on Dec. 26,
1876, ELLEN, wife of JAMES BURLEY, aged 34 years.
MRS. BURLEY was a consistent Christian woman and was esteemed by all her
acquaintances. She leaves a husband and three children.
