I checked both the Early Iowa Marraiges CD and the Lucas County Marraiges book and can find no reference to a marraige between Drake and Davis.
It is possible they were not wed in Iowa. There is an Annie M. Davis (F: J.M. Davis, M: M.E.Davis) age 11 on the 1895 Kansas Census in Delhi, Osborne County. She was born in Iowa, but is not the same Anna M. Dave who is in Lucas Co Iowa in 1900.
Leonard is in Colorado in the 1900. I can't pick up on this Annie M. Davis (between Ann Anne Annie and Anna there's a lot of Anna M. Davises in the midwest at the turn of the century), but she would have been 16 by then.
Leonard could have met and married her on his way back to Iowa from Colorado or her family could have moved on to CO in the 1895-1900 time frame.
I can send you the 1895 census for Annie and the 1900 for Leonard directly if you'd like.
