The 1885 IOWA STATE CENSUS (Linn County), is attached below.
I've also attached the 1856 IOWA STATE CENSUS (Linn County).

I wonder where the two older daughters (Myrtle and Abia), might be in 1885?
And why Almenda/Alminda is listed on the census by ''Pierce'' (her family surname), rather than by Miller?
