Frank Strohmeier (Stromeyer) in Dubuque, Iowa

Hi,
I am trying to research Frank Strohmeier (Stromeyer) who was born 1847 in Germany. Immigrated in 1857 to New Orleans, Louisiana. He married Catharine Carey (Casey?) in Louisiana and their daughter Mary was born in Louisiana in 1880. By 1884 they had moved to Dubuque, Iowa were their daughter, Francis, was born. The last record I have of Frank was on the 1905 Iowa census. The last record I have of Catharine was on the 1895 census.

Francis married William Fennewald.
