I have a diary written in 1911 by my great great grandmother Louesa M (nee Babbit) Morse (1855-1912), wife of Daniel I Morse (1847-1923). She writes of day to day life and mentions many neighbors throughout the course of the diary. The diary ends Dec 31st 1911. She died April 20th, 1912 Allendale, Worth, Mo. I'd be interested in any maps of their farm, photos, obits. Here is a partial listing of the many folks she mentions. The ink is fading so I'm sure there are many spelling errors; Jim Fletchall, Mr. Whitisel, John Butler, Carrie Natsion, Ola Munks, George Murrin, Dillie and Harriet Seat, Ora Dants and Grace Todd who married 12-31-11. The Combs boys, Wilese Comes, Walters Comer (or Comes), Charlie Barnhoe, Flossie Skeleton, Dr. Robertson, Dr Dunkeson, June Butler (married 12-20-11) Mr Maning (Manning), Mr and Mrs Jackson, Vern Shields, Charlie Cole, George Adams, Mrs. Adams, Carl Adams, Mr Barns, Ray Austin, John Washburn, Sam Washburn, Emma Murray, Argus Adams, Delsa Adams, Maggie Goldings, George Golding, Bernard Murry, Lemon Muk, Grant DeHart, Luke DeHart (owned a store?), Mary Morris, Lena Ingals, Ruth Hobbs, Ben kidney (died 6-11-11) Ken Knidney, Charlie Roberts, Mrs Golda Ruckman, Mr Brubaker, John Tilton, George Guess, John Davis,Anna Morris, Herbert Morris, Mrs Ed Brown, Mr and Mrs Hobbs, Henry Keys, Sue Westcot, Bertha Benson, Fanny Johnson, Bert Miller and the MC Church (Methodist Congregation?) She writes of Dan going to My Ayr and Waterson among other places so I can't tell for sure exactly where thier farm was.
