My ggrandparents, George A. and Eliza Clauff, ran a hotel near the railroad depot in Beaconsfield. Their daughters was married to the first depot agents. Rebecca Lamb and Claudia Bonham. George Clauff died April 25, 1900. He is buried in the Oliver Cemetery. I am trying to find out who his parents were and where he was born. This may be in his obituary. Sometimes there wasn't an obit but the death and funeral is noted in the social part of the local paper. What is the name of the paper that might have had this information? Does anyone have a picture of the hotel they ran?
