Hello,
My name is Richard Gacovino. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. My Great Grandfather came to the United States from Italy (Naples, I think.) His Name was Vito Iacovino. The last name had changed twice since his arrival. My Grandfather was named Emil Giacovino and My father is Emil R. Gacovino. I had heard stories that My Great Grandfather and his brother left Italy to come to America around the same time. One went to North America (United States, New York)and the other to South America (Argentina). I have always wondered if I had relatives from Argentina. My folks said that they had learned from other relatives years ago that My Great Grandfathers brothers was involved in the meat or livestock industry. Could we be related?
