My grandfather, Giovanni Battista Iacovino and his wife, Carmina Cappiello emigrated from Biccari (vicino di Foggia and Lucera) in apulia in late 1880's. I have a complete family tree including him that goes back to the mid 18th century.
Of all the descendants of the original person on the tree none seem to have gone to South America. Most came to US or remained in Italy.
