I am the daughter of Americo Iadarola who recently passed away. He was the fifth and only survivor of seven sons born to Francesco Antonio Iadarola and Teresa (Annantuonio)Iadarola. My grandparents were born in Italy in the province of Foggia in the town of Pietromontecorvino as spelled in my map of Italy. Other messages posted spell it Pietro Monte Corvino. Either spelling, it is the same town.

Three of the seven sons were born in Italy. Nicholas, James, and Antonio. Albert, Americo, Frank, and Louis were born in Milford, Massachusetts. One daughter born in Italy died in Italy and was only a few months old.

My father Americo and my Uncle Louis moved to Cape Cod after retirement and that is where I live also.

One of the messages states the there is a square in Milford named after one of the sons (Francesco), Frank never served in the army. Antonio or Tony as he was known had a son named Frances who served in the army in WW2 and was killed in France.

I have more information and if anyone is interested I can be contacted at my office email which is: bcurry@ifaw.org
