If your Sarah Anna Iams was born in Ohio, have you tried the 1880 census. She should be listed and it would show her parents. Now, I have a James Milton Iams who married a Della Jane Ayle. Her parents were John Wilson Ayle and Denor Armetrout. I am just giving you this information as a place to look. The above events occurred in Logan and Hardin Counties, Ohio. I checked out James Milton Iams siblings and I do not have a 'Sarah Anna Iams'. I do have quite a few names in my data bank, but no 'Sarah Anna Iams b. 4-1-1872. I'll keep looking. I am always interested in any spelling of the surname Iams [Imes, Iiames, Ijames]. Evidently, 'Gid Iams' is a nick-name! Roberta Iiames
