Hi Angie, I saw where there was a probate record for Hugh J. Iams and Minors Iams. Do you have a copy of these file? If so, could I get a copy of it. If not, do you have the address for the Probate Court and I will write to them. I haven't visited this site for a few days and was surprise to see your postings. These kind of postings are just great. I am so excited.
I have a Hugh J. Iams born in 1859 the son of Hugh Iams born 1817 in Maryland and died in Iowa and Catherine Moore-Purdue Iams. I don't have any other information on Hugh born in 1859. If you and Angela could give me more dates, I could probably take you back further. Hope to hear from you both. The Ijams or Iiams were Welsh. William Iiams was born in England about 1640.
