I know that John and Nancy had a son, Edward Esten Iams, b. either 19 Jan 1880 or 19 Jan 1883, PA, died 11 Nov 1958 in San Francisco. In 1920, Edward is in El Monte CA working for the Southern Pacific Railroad as a carpenter on a bridge building crew.

What I'm really trying to determine if Edward Esten Iams is the father of Edward Ellsworth Iams, b. 19 Jun 1921 in Virginia and died 13 Sept 1958 in Los Angeles. Can you help me with this?
