Thanks Roberta for your update. I can see the problem that occurred in recording the Iams linage. Just spoke with another of my Iams relatives-Dorothy Solinger-a first cousin of my mother's. We both agree that any errors in our Uncle Elisha's work were completely unintentional and we know that he believed any infomation he received to be fact at the time he gathered it. As I indicated, I will be happy to work with anyone who is working on this line. I do not need the certificate you mentioned, only wanted to add that bit of information into my personal line for my children and grandchildren. I thought perhaps there was a site on the internet where you could view the Iams name in the America's First Families group. Thanks again.
